“Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, the National Centre for Gaelic Language & Culture in Sleat on the Isle of Skye, selected Donald and his team
in 2010 as its preferred contractor to paint and protect the outside of its 3 principal shore-side buildings at Àrainn Chaluim Chille
(the Saint Columba campus). As the attached photo shows, the 3 buildings are to the left on a challenging coastal site with
significant year-round weather exposure and Donald provided a first-class service both in initially advising the College as to which
product would best meet its needs and in supervising the work itself.
The College’s Tower residency building is circular and 5 storeys high and Donald expertly advised the College on the most suitable
access arrangements so that the work to all 3 buildings was completed with the minimum of disruption to students, visitors and
staff. As a testimony to the quality of their work, the College has maintained close relations with Donald and his team in the time
since and we had no hesitation in recommending them for consideration by our main contractor for an award of contract in
respect of our latest building, Ionad Iain Nobail, which is due to open at our newly developed Kilbeg site in summer 2015”
